The Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center has chosen Mastertel as a telecommunications partner. The telecom operator undertakes resolving the organizational and technical issues in order to improve the reliability of the Space Center's communication system.
In 2016, the Khrunichev Center faced the problem of repeated damage to the major fiber-optic backbone, linking the organization with MMTS-9, so the need for its redundancy on alternative routes was obvious. According to the competitive tender process results, Mastertel provided the best conditions and managed to implement the redundancy protection project based on its own Master-Connect network.
The telecom operator arranged for a highly reliable and secure connection in the quickest way: four optical fibers were used to create a secure point-to-point connection linking the sites. Mastertel's own Master-Connect fiber-optic network became a winning argument for the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center when choosing a telecommunications partner, as it guarantees a high level of data transmission quality, as well as a maximal security of the information transmitted.
“We have a long lasting cooperation with Mastertel Company. It is no surprise, that a good company effectively providing high-quality modern communication services had won the competitive tender,” commented Andrey Nikulin, the Head of Department for Telecommunications of the Khrunichev Center.
“Providing telecommunications services to one of the leading companies in the Russian space industry is an important project for our company. It requires an individual approach to ensuring the maximal level of reliability and security of the communication,” said Vitaly Ezopov, CEO of Mastertel. “Our company has extensive expertise with such responsible customers. Entering into a contract with a state corporation is yet another confirmation of our competence as a supplier of quality and competitive telecommunication services. We believe, this partnership has the necessary capacity to meet the challenges of federal importance,” CEO of Mastertel concluded confidently.
