Mastertel Company has implemented a new large-scale project for Etalon Group, one of the largest construction holdings in Russia dealing with all stages of investment and construction process: project development, design, engineering, site preparation, production of building materials, construction, and real estate operation.
Mastertel and Etalon Group have a long standing cooperation. Earlier, the leading telecommunications operator has provided the construction holding with a full range of telecommunication services: dark fiber lease, Internet access, telephony, and vanity telephone number. The new contract was about expansion of the telecommunications infrastructure, uniting the client’s subdivisions via high-speed communication channels.
As a result of the project Mastertel company has provided one of the companies of the Etalon Group with a corporate VPLS network through its private Master-Connect network. The solution is to unite separate departments into a single corporate network, based on Virtual Private LAN Service technology. Due to its high quality physical basis the Master-Connect network benefits high consumer characteristics. These are, above all, high capacity (up to 10 Gbps), reliability, security, and scalability at wide range. Master-Connect’s excellent network coverage in Moscow and the Moscow region, together with inviting its private construction company for cabling of the last mile both allowed Mastertel to connect the customer sites within a short time.
In addition, the telecommunications provider has enabled the Forwarding service for the Etalon Group depending on the time of the day. It works on the basis of the virtual Mastertel automatic telephone station (ATS) for a previously connected single multichannel federal telephone 8-800. Depending on the day of the week and the time of day the call is forwarded to the region, which is most convenient for the customer. This allows taking all important calls, contributing to the expansion of business geographic reach and increasing the number of incoming calls to the company.
